What would a weekend night be without me staying up until almost sunrise? Sometimes I stay up late because I have a social life. And sometimes not.

I learned a few things tonight:
  1. Sapa has really bad hot chocolate.
  2. Sapa’s chocolate (candy) isn’t much better. (Sapa, you should get your chocolate from “Daily Chocolate” in Vergennes).
  3. It’s fun to go to the Half Lounge to see a new set of people; variety is important.
  4. The Half Lounge’s Chai drink with bourbon tastes kinda like milky toothpaste.
  5. DJs with very big mustaches hire sidekick DJs to assist them who have similarly big mustaches.
  6. I like Nectars’ Trivia Night. But that’s the only thing I like about Nectars.
  7. The boys who live across the parking lot in my sister’s old apartment have HBO on Demand and are happy to let me watch “Bored to Death” featuring my favorite, Jason Schwartzman, whenever I would like. Hoorah!
  8. I am unable to watch more than 60 seconds of the CW’s Vampire Diaries without cringing. I watched the previews and couldn’t help but hate the actors and everything about the show. There is no way I’m going to able to give it a chance. The CW is lame.
I took the photo to the left while in New York City this past July. It wasn’t super hot this summer, but it was warmer than now. Normally the cold doesn’t bother me, but right now I am missing warm balmy summer days…

I love Nectar’s trivia night, too! Great photo, btw.
